Kab Tak

When I write this Blog I remember one line from one of my most Favourite Movie that “We are Resilient by Force and not by Choice”. Indeed that is true. On 26th Nov, 09 we will mark First Anniversary of one of the Most Highlighted attacks. Was it any different from the one in Delhi, Jaipur, Surat and many more? Just the difference was the Live Coverage (that helped Terrorists to kill few more people + NSG) and a Hijack like situation where apart from NSG everyone was confused. What has changed since then? I guess nothing apart from few more NSG hubs and a better Home Minister. Our Coast is still very vulnerable, there is no sharing of Information whatsoever within our states, and Every Authority is playing its own game or rather blame game. Mumbai Police is getting new arms and GPS equipped ships to Patrol Coasts but is that enough, aren’t there 5-6 more states which are coastal and there security is still at Pre-Mumbai level. The owners of Both the Hotels were sorry for the incidence but why was the security of today was not the security of that day? Our PM wants Friendship from those who haven’t charged or filled a case against those Bastards even after 1 year (Sorry I don’t regret that Words).  Our Govt. continues to spend Crores of Rupees on the security of the sole caught Butcher and how shamefully he asks for newspaper and court documents in Urdu only and his choice of food and is supposed to be a clever actor in the Court Room.

The money was given as the compensation to those dead but just ask them have they till date forgotten their lost ones. Was there any single day that they laughed or smiled since then? Are their eyes still Wet? Most probably they haven’t touched that money which was given to them. There was a father who was very happy that his Daughter is the working at the Prestigious TAJ and now he can find a Boy for her and what he gets is her Dead Body.  A woman still runs behind a look alike face of her Husband at the CST Terminal. Today she doesn't know when to laugh and when to cry. She was paid money to forget everything but she doesn’t know what to charge to replace her memories with her dead husband and 2 lost kids. There are people who haven’t lost anyone in that attack but they still start crying when they remember that night, they are the Doctors, Ward boys and Attendants of the JJ and St George Hospital who were in charge to deliver the dead bodies to their crying family members. There are many more unsaid stories which can be read with just a click on Google. The TAJ and The TRIDENT may have started getting back their customers and rather they are more famous because there is a Stone which lights in remembrance for all those Brave souls who died without being told the reason of their meaningless death.  Many stories were left untold and many stories were written with those blood stains but without any resolution. America faced 9/11 once and for all they have changed and till date there has been not a single bird that Americans fear but being faced with such 9/11 on yearly basis,  India has not even moved any single step ahead from yesterday.

But still instead of doing something for the people our shameless Politicians and Ministers continue to fight for the Most Creamy Posts after Maharashtra Elections, then they fight for the language to be used for Oath and at the end of the day they don’t have to do anything apart from blaming each other. I don’t know what lies ahead of us but what I can do is to remember that day and can pay tribute to all those who are not here and May God Bless their families with Force and Patience to bear the pain!!! They don’t stand alone !!!

PS: I dont want to remember it like our Media will do before and after 26/11/09 as their  irresponsible behavior has also claimed few more lives and now paying tribute does not mean anything more than fake cry in my point of view !!!

THE CATTLE CLASS

Author: Mukul / Labels: ,

Mr Shashi Tharoor said these words when he was unwillingly following the Fake Congress’s Austerity Drive, but I guess he said the right words at a very wrong situation. When we board or leave the plane, we all greet the Airhostess with one of the finest English Words with a fake smile but the Real Cattle is not seen at the airport. It is seen when we board Metro in Delhi or Local in Mumbai. We are rather worse then the cattle while walking on the road or taking a metro or driving/parking the car. I mean we don’t have the basic Common Sense or Manners.

This happened today when I stepped out at Rajiv Chowk from Dwarka line Metro to changeover for the Red line. Suddenly I saw mob around the stairs leading to the tunnel/underground Metro. There was some problem with the metro hence the Services was cancelled and so Metro Authorities Genuinely blocked the way so that people don’t unnecessarily step down. But they forgot that we Indians have got this ancestral treasure of doing what is said not to be done. I could see first few people crossing that Bars, then few following them and then most of them STUPIDILY GETTING DOWN WHEN THEY COULD HEAR THE LIVE COMMENTARY BY A METRO PERSON REQUESTING THEM NOT TO GO BECAUSE SERVICES WERE CANCELLED. I could easily calculate that just 10 people were ready to hear him and to follow his instructions while all other desperate CATTLE got down to see themselves if it was actually working or not. Most of them returned within seconds at the very same pace smiling at the guard and telling him that the Train is actually not working. HOW SHAMEFUL IS THAT SMILE? Does that smile show that next time they would heed to what someone say or it was to show that we are born like that and this thing has happened zillion of times and it’s not new? There were College students whose parents are spending almost Lakhs so that their child could get the best of the Education, there were the most EDUCATED PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY – People with the best of the Gadgets of this world in their hands but what they lack is a pity Common Sense.

This is not the first time for me and I am sure all of us have many such experiences when we drive on Road and see a Villagers trying to cross the road on Green light having Subway just 2 steps away. Person spitting on the electric pole like a dog does at the nature’s call. Roads being repaired at the office hours causing huge chaos, street lights working in daylight and not in night. There is a Fire tender but without water. DTC buses make sound from every corner except the horn. Zebra crossing being used by the animals only and that too only when it’s green light for them. A car being parked at the non parking & no tolerance zone, Rickshaws coming absolutely the wrong way, Some Bikers feel that their father owns all the Indian roads and this is the Talent Hunt for next DHOOM’s JOHN so they can drive their highly modernized bikes in any fashion to impress absolutely no one (I bet their Gfs would not even appreciate that stunt or driving skills if its been done for her)

I have written this blog  not because we all don’t know this but because I suppose that next year when there will be People from 70 Nations here in Delhi for The Commonwealth Games, they would click these pictures to show their Family members who are not here to enjoy these moments with them. This is something unprecedented for them. I like my country very much and I hate and refute back when someone abuses our land at our own face but what to do? We cannot even act for those 10 days in a well civilized manner just to show off to the world, so I just hope the Games do not bring Shame to this country as may be Delhi might improve by then but just improving Delhi wont even help.

No one is ready to change; if someone tries to teach these common manners by either awareness programs or either by penalizing then he is called to be the Dictator or Incompetent to deal with the situation, like Dr. Kiran Bedi( First Women IPS Officer) tried to do but was not allowed to take over as the Delhi’s Commissioner of Police because of her tough stands at these issues( She even Towed away Mrs Indira Gandhi's Car parked at No Parking who was PM that time - is just one of her many examples). I feel sometimes that HITLER was born in wrong country. The situation has come that there is need for the toughest of the law for this land not to stop but to educate the Educated Cattles.
