The biggest embarrassment that this An Year Old Government faced was the Mockery of Bhopal Gas Tragedy. A Decision after 25 years with no arrests, no death sentences and no solid punishments. The Main Culprit was already escorted back to his land 25 years back. Though I was not born at that time but even if I try to visualize that situation, it’s really hard to imagine that a state’s Chief Minister will send his car and his plan to escort the man who is clearly the main culprit.
From Bofors with Mr. Q to Bhopal with Mr. A, there is something murky that is lying somewhere hidden in some file or a page which is still out of the reach of media and analysts. There was someone who was playing all the great game from his office.
The Man who ordered the state machinery to paralyze for a day. The person who ordered the Magistrate to escort Mr. Anderson out of Bhopal, The man who ordered Police to grant him bail, the person who then arranged for A Government plane at his disposable, that man who never wanted any clearances, the man who may be dead or alive but has spitted on the lives of 25,000 people who got a miserable death on the spot and without their fault.
I really want to know - WHO WAS THIS MAN?
Is there any name for him and let the blame game settle down this fire as it was done 25 years ago. Indian Judiciary is the second culprit of this catastrophe yet again with the same excuse “There was no LAW, we were handicap”. It is very unfortunate to hear this same dialogue from the Judiciary time and again.
It is really bone breaking to read the Journal and watch those videos which describe this gas leakage taking toll on human bodies. Do we still need any Proof to prove? There was a train standing at the station and it just found standing after days as there was no one and no one living in it. After Hiroshima and Nagasaki I think it was Bhopal that will be remembered as an Accident that claimed thousands of lives not only at the time of happening but even after decades as it is giving a slow poison to the generations arriving. The new ones being born without a hand or eye, they are declared disabled before they are old enough to walk.
After 25,000 lives the law makers and our most Sweet looking PM realized that the Nuclear Liability Bill has to be reviewed and still he is reluctant to make changes. How cheap HUMAN Life has become in India.
Lastly, I would conclude by saying that, we were under Mughal fanatic rulers then came the Britishers then some handful Gundas with Dons ruled our country, now its Either Europe or USA that is ruling India passively. The day we stand on our feet we will be a global power and not any more a soft state. I hope this day comes before I am alive!!!
